Them Oil Changes !!! So today I decided if I'm going to ever be able to save extra money and start living a debt free and sustainable life then I need to cut out some excess spending habits. The first way I thought of was to change my own oil. Here is how I did it! First you got to find the good deals on OIL. Its all about going to a store, grabbing the advertisements for the week and BAM! Look there , 5 Quarts plus filter for 33.99 plus 10 $ Gift card. That's 22.99$ for a full synthetic oil change.   Luckily for me I have been getting deals on oil changes like this for the last two years. It's always good to have at least one or two oil changes worth of oil and filters in the stockpile. In case of job layoffs and such, you never know what tomorrow will bring.  Get your Oil and tools and get to work!  Ok so I have to tell you, this is a dirty job. DIY Can Smelter, Furnace, back yard foundry. Create your own body armor.. ? lol

Well this is a old video but newly released. It all started last summer when a friend of mine named Jared, showed me a youtube video about back yard foundry's. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. So I went home and tried to do it myself.  I started by cutting the top off a old steel fire extinguisher. If you go to your trash dump yard you should be able locate some free ones for the taking. Abel Tasman New Zeland

On our way to start the Abel Tasman!! Since we had to cars we opted to park one at the end of the track and drive the other to the beginning. It was definitely the most sustainable way to do the hike. :) The Mountain Views were pretty sweet!!   At that starting line!!!    Only 11.8 Km to our first stop!!   The first of many panoramas. lol    Half way only 6.9 KM to go!!   More Panoramas at the first stop for a snack!     SMILE!!   Who brings 12 boiled eggs on a 3 day hike?
